#KeepTheCadence with Aspire #LiveFit

PE PLETT have been hard at work to help everyone #KeepTheCadence during this lockdown period. We have decided that what better way to keep you motivated, than create a custom training programme for all riders to follow as they build up to the 9th staging of this unique mountain bike stage race.

 

Your Coach

Bruce and Tracey Campbell, owners of Aspire LiveFit coaching academy, have been highly successful in guiding athletes through their amazing adventures that they dream of doing, from mountain biking stage racing to Ironman events, trail running, open water swimming, paddling or even non-stop multi-day adventure racing. Bruce, as head coach, has many years of training and racing experience, paired with a degree in Sport Science and various other sport performance and nutritional courses. All in order to help guide athletes to balance training for an event with their busy everyday life. Both coaches have completed many Prudential PE Plett events and know exactly what training needs to be done to complete and enjoy your racing experience.

Within the programme there are specifically tailored and polarized training to gradually develop and build fitness and strength. Alongside with key core and overall body strength work that can be done at home without much or any equipment.

Having a more personalized programme is especially beneficial when it comes to looking at nutrition guidance specifically for racing. It will really help leading into your races to have a specific build up so that you don’t go into a race tired and fatigued.

This training plan will be tailored to you. Making use of cycling-specific athlete management software and using workouts specifically suited to the necessary block you are in – our training plan will help all riders #KeepTheCadence on this unique journey.
